New Orleans Sustainable Floral Design Workshop - November 1st

Garden Muses Studio is coming home to New Orleans!!

New Orleans' own Andrea is bringing her Garden Muses Studio floral design workshop home. If you've ever wondered how florists get blooms to actually stay put, or how to build an arrangement that feels alive with movement instead of stiff and over-arranged, this workshop is for you.

We're diving into the mechanics behind the look. Through hands-on guidance and a few florist tips and tricks, you'll learn to design an arrangement with real movement, one that looks intentional, not fussy. We'll work with a curated selection of blooms and let the flowers do the talking.

Flower-Forward Design — This is the Garden Muses signature: blooms front and center, hardly any filler greenery. We build with the flowers themselves, so your arrangement reads lush, colorful, and intentional instead of hidden behind a bunch of leaves.

Real Creative Freedom — There's no single "right" arrangement here. You'll learn the fundamentals, then make choices that are yours: your colors, your shapes, your mood. Everybody's leaves with something different, and that's the whole point.

Sustainable Mechanics — Learn to build a sturdy, foam-free arrangement using chicken wire, a reusable, eco-friendly technique that holds your design in place with zero waste.

3. What makes this workshop sustainable?
We use chicken wire as our only floral mechanic, a reusable, eco-friendly alternative to floral foam. Everything we do is built around sustainability, longevity, and natural beauty.

6. How long does the workshop last?
The design portion runs about 2 hours, so you'll have plenty of time to learn, create, and really enjoy the process. Then stick around for an extra hour afterward to just vibe, talk flowers, and get to know the other folks in the room. Come for the blooms, stay for the company.

7. What should I bring?
Just your creativity and a little enthusiasm. We've got the flowers, tools, and everything else.

9. Is there a capacity limit?
Yes. Spots are limited so everyone gets personal instruction and room to create. Sign up early to grab yours.

10. What should I wear?
No dress code, but wear something comfy you don't mind getting a little wet or messy. Aprons welcome, not required.

11. Is the ticket refundable if I can't attend?
